THE NEWS!
I hate the news. No, no, I despise the news. What was once a program made to conveniently inform people of events and helpful information has slowly but surely turned into a media craved source of lies and problems that are created to solely turn every living human who watches it unto a living Paranoid Parrot.
Some news I do believe is worthy of it’s ‘News’ title, but the rest of it is so far past pathetic that the title ‘Bullshit’ is even too complimentary.
What I believe is worse than the news itself would have to be the people that rely and live off it. The people who actually BELIEVE it all. Those people are pathetic. Just because it’s on the news does not mean at all that it is true. This rant of mine was provoked by my very rare watching of TV. If I could avoid all ads believe me I would, but since I can’t I have to sit silently and bare through it so my grandma doesn’t throw the remote at my face.
Most news ads piss me off but this one in particular got to me. It was about how criminals are spying on families with Baby Monitors. Ok, now, this is I guess somewhat informing but really, why does something that probably happened to one person have to be put in the heads of multiple people for no reason.
The topics of the news is one thing but the unnecessary spreading of fear is another. So, News, kindly go die in a hole.
